Highlights
Welcome to GogoGogo creates jobs (training and recruiting women and the occasional man to knit woolly things) and initiates volunteer networks of Grannies and other angels who knit woolly gifts of love for vulnerable kids and old people. Gogo’s goal is to create tighter knit communities by creating a “knitwork” for unemployed people and a “social knitwork” that brings people together to find new meaning through volunteering and giving their time and love.
Imagine...Imagine over 12 000 smiling faces, imagine the creation of 23 263 work opportunities for 600 unemployed ladies, imagine over R1.5MILLION being pushed directly back to needy communities in South Africa.
